The Power of a Confident Woman

Updated: Feb 25, 2020

She doesn't need permission to be a woman, for God determined who she'd be. Genesis 2:19-21 But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he slept, He took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the area with flesh. And from the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man, He made a woman and brought her to him. She is confident enough to know she was what was missing after all other creatures were created. She became what man needed, in other words "suitable". She doesn't have to compete with any living creature on this earth. Her very existence is necessary for life. Even in pain, she is capable of birthing something beautiful. She is feminine, all woman, bearing the traits that make her like none other. Whether a size 2 or 22, she walks with her head lifted, not needing to fit society's criteria of a woman; she is a confident woman. Her worth isn't what's seen with the naked eye, but the invisible strength she carries lies in pathway to her soul. While crying silently, she gets herself together and presents the best version of herself. The power of a confident woman, she keeps it together when everyone else is falling apart.

For me, this blog is such a powerful yet beautiful reminder of who God says I am in Him. Just a few days ago I asked God, “Who am I really in You? I want to see myself as you see me. Please God, help me do so!” Thank you for sharing!💕
